Hello! Welcome to Laughternoons!

Hi there, random stranger! Haha, just kidding- you're probably here because you watch videos from our Youtube channel, Laughternoons. This page is designed so you can learn a little more about the Laughternoons Crew, Lynne and Jess (these are not our real names, but please call us by them!)
If you haven't seen our Draw My Life video, I recommend watching it. Here's a link:

The Laughternoons Story (a letter to you!):

Hello,

Our names are Lynne and Jess, and we have been the co-owners of Laughternoons for two years (going on three!). We met at around the age of nine, when we went to the same local public school. We were placed at the same table of desks in this class, and we quickly became friends. One of my earliest memories of our friendship was wearing matching outfits for "Twin Day" at our school. We played together at recess, often playing tag or sitting underneath the trees. The next year at school was also fun. We paired together for any partner assignment given (and we still do!), and it was tons of fun. Unfortunatley, that year was when many kids changed their schooling courses. Some went into a STEM program, while others remained with the regular system, and some even left the school for a math and science school. Jess had gotten into the math and science school (due to her brother already going there), and Lynne had also applied for the lottery to get in. Luckily, we both were able to get in, and we had many classes together. One early memory here was going to see a Shakespeare play together for extra credit. It was in the early years at this new school we started our YouTube channel. We had picked up playing with dolls (we were about 11 at the time) and reading Harry Potter, and discovered Stop Motions and wanted to give it a try. Our first video was Intro, which we deleted, followed by two tutorials, which we also deleted. We used our iPods to film stop motions, which makeshift tripods (boxes.....). Luckily, in the following years we were able to get DSLR cameras and our quality of videos began to improve. In the following years, Jess won a major contest, winning a doll, and we entered High School. Our friends know about our dolls, and it's so much more fun that way, because we have so much less to hide! We've now reached current times. We're still in High School, and we still love dolls, just not playing with them, instead, we make videos! We hope you learned a little bit about Laughternoons here, and be sure to check out our Draw My Life video.

Bye for now,
Jess and Lynne
